David Blanchard is a flawed follower of Jesus, grateful for God’s grace. For several years he has immersed himself in the Bible as well as a multitude of biblical commentaries, books authored by pastors, philosophers, and theologians and online presentations. During that journey he came to see the joy, hope, and freedom that comes from forming our identity, how we see ourselves, based on who, and what, God describes and intends a Christian to be, rather than one determined through culture, the world, or our own devices. He has recently authored a book based on that extensive research to help others to see God’s designs and intentions for shaping a Christian’s identity. A graduate of the University of Southern California, he has been president of three companies, executive director of a youth sports organization, a banking executive, a CPA for a public accounting firm, a volunteer youth sports coach, and a father to three children. Dave enjoys spending time with his wife of 39 years, outdoor activities, reading, and leading a weekly Bible study group.
